Competitive sailing

For large groups, starting from 50 persons, we organize regattas on multiple traditional sailboats from Muiden. You can split up your group into teams that will race each other, yourself. The course of the match will be surveyable, so it will be easy to see how the competition is doing. In this way, everyone can be actively involved in the world of competitive yachting. Sailing experience is not required. The skipper and seaman will explain everything to you during a practise round. (read a review of this arrangement)

Programme

10 a.m.	You and your guests embark the ships that are moored in the harbour of Muiden. While you are enjoying a cup of coffee, the crew explains to you a few things about the regatta you are going to sail.
10:30 a.m.	The ships leave the harbour and the sails are hoisted. You will sail the Markermeer.
12 a.m.	Lunch is served while the ships drop their anchor together or sail along (in consultation).
1 p.m.	Start regatta. The ships sail the course that is decided upon before the race. The exact course depends on weather and wind circumstances.
3:30 p.m.	Finish.
4 p.m.	On board of the ships, a Dutch snack plateau is served.
4:30 p.m.	Arrival in the harbour of Muiden. Prize distribution on deck.
5 p.m.	End of programme in the harbour of Muiden.

The sailing regatta day arrangement includes the ship’s rental, reception with Dutch spice cake, and extensive maritime lunch, Dutch snack plateau, free national bar, and service.
Duration: 7 hours, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Other periods on request.

Central coffee reception on on-shore location (coffee/tea/apple pie)	€ 1,50 p.p.
Barbecue or dinner in a restaurant in Muiden incl. free bar	ca. € 25,50 p.p.
Competition crew and start/finish ship, official buoy course, central reception with speaker, prize distribution by the competition crew and prizes. To give the match an official character.	€ 850,-
