Weddings and parties

With us, it is possible to get married on board of a traditional ship. A registrar of the city of Muiden will join you in matrimony on board of the ship. Now that’s an exclusive wedding!

After the ceremony you will cut the wedding cake and uncork the champagne. When the registrar leaves the ship, we will cast off for a sailing trip. You will rent the ship for your guests exclusively. Muiden is an authentic and romantic city, with its beautiful castle, the Muiderslot, that is perfectly suitable for taking pictures of this memorable day.

Exemplary programme

2 p.m.	Arrival on board of the ship that is moored in the harbour of Muiden. After a welcome by the registrar of the city of Muiden and the skipper and his crew, you will be joined in matrimony.
3 p.m.	Cutting of the wedding cake and uncorking of the champagne.
3:30 p.m.	The ship leaves the harbour and the sails are hoisted. Everyone can help actively, even with the steering and tacking of the ship.
6 p.m.	Dinner is served below deck.
9 p.m.	The ship arrives in the harbour of Muiden. End of the sailing trip.

This programme is not fixed and can, of course, be adjusted to your wishes. You could also visit the fortress island Pampus, for example, or close the day with a barbecue on an island near the shore of Muiden. You can also start or end your day earlier or later.

It is also possible to have the wedding ceremony in the council chamber of Muiden, and embark our ship after for a sailing trip.

And even your bachelor party is in good hands with us...Just as all your other parties and festivities.
