After a series of very successful cooking workshops on board of our ships, we have developed a new concept. An arrangement of high quality in which the recognition of quality and quality itself are most important. In this arrangement as well, we work together with star chef Bastiaan Planje. Bastiaan worked as a chef at, among others, Michelin-starred restaurant Juliana and worked with Gordon Ramsey during the Volvo Ocean Race. Together, we looked for a means of entertainment that included learning and high-quality gastronomy.

In our Taste Trainings, we take our guests on a journey along the most extraordinary combinations of wine and fare; a series of small and balanced courses will be complemented by our viticulturist with the most delicious wines. There will be many flavour explosions. Our chef and viticulturist will teach you about the various wines and on how to select a suitable wine for a certain dish.

Our star chef, Bastiaan Planje, will chef you the most delicious dishes. His focus will be especially on the flavours, aromas and structures. Every dish will be analysed according to composition and structure. Once you have experienced our Taste Training, you will always know which bottle of wine to uncork to accompany a delicious dish.

This training lasts 7 hours in total (2 p.m. to 9 p.m.). You can decide yourselves how to schedule the programme.
