Sailing and canoeing

Enjoy your day on the water from two different perspectives! Sailing on a comfortable sailboat is alternated with an active explorative expedition by canoe. From the sailboat, you can enjoy an astonishing view on the Markermeer, yet from a canoe you can see the water and nature from up close. From Muiden you sail to the Blocq van Kuffeler to leave from there by canoe, guided by a qualified guide, to explore an area of natural beauty: the Noorderplassen. After that, you will return on board of the sailboat, where you can talk about your experiences while enjoying a drink. The ideal arrangement for those that look for an original outing in which action and relaxation are combined.

Programme

10 a.m.	You will embark the ship that is moored in the harbour of Muiden. After a welcome by the skipper, you will enjoy a coffee with Dutch spice cake. Together you will decide upon the sailing route.
10:30 a.m.	The ship leaves the harbour and the sails are hoisted. Everyone can help actively, even with the steering and tacking of the ship.
12:30 p.m.	Our chef serves an extended maritime lunch while the ship moors near the Blocq van Kuffeler.
1:30 p.m.	You embark the canoes for an exploratory tour around the Noorderplassen, guided by a qualified guide.
3 p.m.	You return on board of the sailboat and the sails are hoisted.
4 p.m.	When the sails are up, our chef serves a Dutch snack plateau with a drink.
5 p.m.	Arrival in the harbour of Muiden. End of the programme.

All other numbers: prices on request. The arrangement Sailing & Canoeing includes a sailing trip, a canoeing trip, coffee and Dutch spice cake, a maritime lunch, a Dutch snack plateau, 5 drinks p.p., and service.
Duration: 7 hours, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., all other periods on request.
